Longboards - The Center of Soul!

As a leader in the modern longboard revolution, Peter began carving out lightweight, modern rockered high performance longboards upon his return to San Diego from Maui in 1984. The first generation of Peter's modern longboards were designed exclusively for high performance, built with ultra-light foam and employing a three fin thruster type of set up. This later evolved into the two plus one set up; a longer, boxed center fin with two small side fins which in turn made for more drive, increased stability and better nose riding. The two plus one set up continues to be preferred by those that want a true mix of the old and the new.

In the late 90's, Peter took a more traditional approach to longboard design and developed the "Classic Series". These models define old school soul with sturdy volan glass, classic flat rocker, 50/50 rails, traditional templates, and optional t-band stringers. These single fin longboards are vastly improved versions of classic 60's style designs. Not only are the Classic Series boards beautiful, but they trim unreal and they are exceptionally fast and stable. Because they nose ride so incredibly well, they are extremely popular with the cross-stepping traditionalists.

Realizing that female surfers have different board requirements than their male counterparts, Peter has also been developing a new series of longboards, speed eggs and shortboards exclusively for women. These boards are custom designed to give the rider an edge in the line-up with an emphasis on paddling ease, lightness and maneuverability.
